Fairfood is looking for an experienced freelance UX/UI designer 25/02/2019

Fairfood is fixing our food system, making them more fair, using innovative technology that we call ‘fair tech’. Think blockchain. Right now, we are in the process of building a fair tech platform, for which we need the sharp eye of an experienced UX/UI designer.

In short, we’re looking to substantially improve the usability of our platform’s backend and consumer interface. Simplicity, clarity and getting in line with what users are used to is key. We’re not so much looking for a programmer, but for great advice/designs/sketches that our developers can work with.

Tasks:

  • Review current front- and backend:
    • Review current platform from UX perspective
    • Provide solutions that are workable for our developers to make it substantially more usuable
    • Work with developers to make and test the changes
  • Immersive interface:
    • Co-create next iteration if consumer interface
    • Make it more immersive, less technical, more attractive for consumers
    • Work with developers and UI design to make and test the changes

Criteria:

  • Proven experience in UX design
  • Strong vision on consumer interfacing as well as facilitation of processes in backend
  • Part-time availability in March-April
  • Experience with food supply chains is a pre
